Hello! My name is Fametta Darling and I come to this work after years in more academic shoes. My background is in Project Management, but after experiencing the birth of my son, I knew that my real passion was the hands-on work of serving birthing families as a doula and a childbirth educator. I work with families around the Charlotte area to create positive, satisfying, and empowering birth experiences.

My Darling Doula is Charlotte's premiere holistic approach to cultivating calm and confidence in pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. As a Holistic Doula, I look at the ‘whole’ being when approaching healing treatments and birth work. I will honor this sacred time in your life, empower you to make informed decisions for you and your family, and nurture your new family through the magic of birth and beyond. Combining formal education and personal wisdom, with practical and time-honored techniques, I'll help ease the transitions while you find the strength within youself, to surrender to it. This is your journey, I'll simply hold up the lantern when you veer off the path.
